That's french for Happy Thanksgiving! Nikki is going to love this picture. But really, its so thanksgiving-y. We went to the American Cathedral for Thanksgiving dinner. It was so much fun, so much good food, and so weird to not be at home cooking all day long. In fact, I worked on thanksgiving day. My kids loved my thanksgiving lesson, and they think that Americans are thoroughly weird to eat pumpkin pie and cranberry sauce with turkey. Here, pumpkin is used in savory dishes (like soups) and cranberries don't grow anywhere except north America (did you know that?).Like any good thanksgiving dinner, we ate too much and laughed a lot. Hope everyone's thanksgiving was full of turkey and good cheer!
